The Balanced Mind Curriculum Conference was established in 1996 in order to bring together Long Island and metropolitan New York educators from all disciplines in an annual, one day symposium. Each year world renown keynote speakers address the conference. Many clinicians and artist/teachers present breakout sessions on topic related to the arts, interdisciplinary education and creativity.
The Balanced Mind Curriculum Conference is co-sponsored by the Nassau County chapter of the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education (NYSCAME), Nassau Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), and the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.
